Refund & Expectation Policy

One-on-One Coaching Meetings
All one-on-one or group coaching sessions(including webinars) are non-refundable. The client agrees to provide My Digital Presence Coach with a minimum of 24 hours' notice if a session or webinar must be rescheduled. All rescheduled appointments must be rescheduled within 30 days of the rescheduled date. My Digital Presence Coach is not liable or responsible for any missed or forgotten coaching appointments and does not guarantee the honouring of such appointments. The client agrees that missing their appointment will result in the forfeiture of the appointment, and fees are non-refundable.

 

One-on-One Coaching Meetings: Technical Difficulties
My Digital Presence Coach is not responsible for any technical difficulties the client may experience during the video conference session or while attempting to log in. My Digital Presence Coach will make reasonable attempts to help the client connect to a video conference meeting or offer to reschedule their meeting if the technical difficulties prohibit the coaching call from starting. 
 

One-on-One Coaching: Video Conferencing Requirement

Meetings cannot be conducted over the phone. Clients are welcome to turn their cameras off; however, they must still log into the video conferencing session. Sessions require screen sharing from both parties to help walk through the technical aspects of the calls. If clients choose to join the video conference from a separate device, My Digital Presence Coach cannot guarantee full support during coaching. Clients may request to use their phone for audio and log in to the video conferencing software for screen sharing.
 

One-on-One Coaching: Coach Rescheduling

From time to time, it may be necessary for My Digital Presence Coach to reschedule a planned meeting with the client. My Digital Presence Coach will provide as much notice as possible for these interruptions and allow the client to reschedule their appointment at their convenience within 30 days. 

 

One-on-One Coaching: Coach Technical Difficulties

If the session is interrupted due to technical difficulties with My Digital Presence Coach's equipment or internet connection, they will promptly email you and make an effort to resume the call by phone or reschedule at the client's convenience within 30 days of the interruption.

 

One-on-One Coaching: Client Technical Difficulties
If the client is unable to log in to the video conferencing software due to power or internet failure, please email or call Lys at the time of the appointment to request a reschedule due to unforeseen technical difficulties.

One-on-One Coaching: Confidentiality

Any documents including spreadsheets, downloads, PDFs, or infographics provided to the client may not be reproduced for monetary or marketing purposes. My Digital Presence coach retains the rights to all documents, downloads, PDFs, or infographics, and video content provided to the client.

Website and Retainer Contracts
The client must acknowledge the following with respect for website building, ongoing contracts, or any other for-hire work:

  • All fees are non-refundable

  • All fees, services, documents, recommendations, and reports are confidential.

  • Additional fees may apply to website hosting, domain, SSL, 3rd party apps, etc.

  • SEO rankings cannot be guaranteed.
     

All website and for-hire contracts will include an additional 'Digital Services Agreement' and 'Scope of Work' document that will be sent to the client at the time the first invoice is issued. This agreement must be signed and returned prior to work starting. In the event the agreement is not signed, payment received shall indicate the client agrees and consents to the Digital Services Agreement. Please refer to the Digital Services Agreement and the Scope of Work document for any clauses not included on this page.
Any documents, downloads, PDFs or infographics provided to the client may not be reproduced for monetary or marketing purposes. My Digital Presence coach retains the rights to all documents, downloads, PDFs, or infographics provided to the client unless otherwise specified by a signed contract or the Digital Services Agreement.

Online Courses and Webinars
My Digital Presence Coach retains all rights and copyright to online courses sold on this website and webinars produced for clients. Courses and webinars may not be reproduced, uploaded, shared or licensed without written permission and a signed contract. All course purchases are considered final sales and are non-refundable.
