The Aunty Collective | Shopify Migration & Indigenous Creator Hub
Indigenous Shopify Website | E-Commerce for Artists
SHOPIFY
Focus: E-Commerce & Membership
Features: Consignment Plugin, Events Calendar, Blog, Gallery, Member Pages
The Aunty Collective, an Indigenous creative powerhouse based in Victoria, BC, needed a website that could grow with their business and support their community of creators. I migrated their site from Squarespace to Shopify to consolidate inventory across their online store and brick-and-mortar location and switched to a Shopify POS solution.
The new site features a consignment plugin that allows Indigenous creators to log in, track product sales, and request payments, freeing up the Aunties to focus on operations and outreach.
Key features include:
A members-only area with paid membership options
A fully integrated Shopify store with inventory management
Custom consignment dashboard for creators
Events calendar, gallery, and blog for community engagement
Coaching and training for staff to manage the site independently
This ground-up Shopify solution supports The Aunty Collective’s mission to empower Indigenous creators while streamlining their business operations.
Lys made this process easy. The website now syncs with our retail inventory, saving everyone time. Our staff are now trained on the system and can manage the inventory and website updates themselves. It also saves us time to have the co-signment plugin so creators can view their earnings and get paid easily.
