The OV Arts Centre | Rebrand & Digital Infrastructure for a Performing Arts Venue

The OV Arts Centre in Nanaimo, BC, needed a fresh start. Their previous website featured colonial imagery that no longer aligned with their values. I led a full redesign of their website using WordPress and Elementor, creating a sleek, dark-contrast layout that reflects the intimacy of their performance space. The new site includes an online booking calendar, nonprofit membership integration, lead capture forms, and an events calendar to promote upcoming shows.

To support their operations, I also:
- Built a secure members-only portal for board minutes and member perks
- Integrated online payments for ticket sales
- Streamlined workflows with custom forms and automations
- Provided coaching for executive volunteers to manage the site independently

Bonus: My muraling company, Humanity In Art, was hired to repaint their outdoor signage with the new branding, bringing the rebrand full circle.
